From a kid i always liked sports,soccer,basketball,even running.But i don't know why i just loved soccer,maybe partly an influence from my brother.He has been a Man Utd fan since,well i had no idea,and that was why i became a Man Utd fan as well.I used to surpport Newcastle,when there were Alan Shearer,David Ginola,Robert Lee,Gary Speed.After a while,my brother who always watches Man Utd match kinda influence me.And before i knew i started loving Man Utd.From the days i saw how Eric Cantona takes penalties to the days David Beckham scored the goal from half court to the days Ruud Van Nistelrooy score goals like crazy to the current era when Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney lead the Man Utd attack.It's just so wonderful to see their style of play it makes me wanna play this game so much.
As a results soccer came into my life,during my secondary school days,all my classmates and i played was soccer,soccer and soccer.hoever my first cca was not soccer,it was basketball,ironic huh.i joined the soccer team only when i was sec3.Then my PE teacher was also the soccer team head coach and we had a game of soccer during PE.After the lesson,he came and asked if i was interested,and eventually i was in the team.I was so happy at that time i went about telling my buddies whenever i saw them,however,things didn't turn out well as i wanted.I was in the team during the west zone tournament during the biggining of sec4 when my school did so badly.In fact,we only won 1 out of 5 matches,and in all of that matches,i was on the bench.Maybe it was my lack of experience and also my fitness,i was not so good in my stamina.i came on as a substitute in all of the matches,i was told to play as a striker except for a right back in the last match which we won.I did not make much of an impact in those games,it was so difficult for me even to get the ball from my team mates.Eventually my soccer in the school team ended shortly but memorable.
Now i'm still playing every saturday morning,i would go down to the nearby street soccer court with my friends.We won some,maybe we lost more than we won.But ultimately,it's not about winning or losing,it's about enjoying the game.The feeling everytime you scored a goal,well truly wonderful.For now,i'm stiill young i want to enjoy this game,it maybe still a long way,but i want to play this game,untill the day my legs tell me to stop.
